Presented in Trento the final stage
of the Fis Rollerski World Cup
The final stage of the Fis Rollerski World Cup has been presented today at the premises of Trento, Monte Bondone and Valle dei Laghi tourist board. The races will take place from Friday the 8th of September to Sunday the 10th in Trento, on Monte Bondone and, for the first time, in the municipality of Aldeno.
The press conferenze has been introduced by the President of the tourist board Franco Aldo Bertagnolli, by the Director and Event Manager Elda Verones, but also by the Sport Councillor of the Trento municipality Tiziano Uez and by the Aldeno mayor Nicola Fioretti. The sport department has been represented by the President of Coni Trentino Paola Mora, by the President of Federsci Angelo Dalpez and by Marco Zoller, the Fisi responsible for the nordic ski sector.
This important event dedicated to skiroll comes back from the 8th to the 10th of September thanks to the coordinating role of ASD Charly Gaul Internazionale and of the Trento, Monte Bondone, Valle dei Laghi tourist board.
According to the programme, the ko sprint will be taken in the afternoon of Friday the 8th in the Trento city centre and in particular along the 165 meters long track in via Santa Croce.
Saturday morning the participants from all over the world will move up to Monte Bondone for the up hill classic senior and junior with starts in Vason (junior M/F; senior F) and Candriai (senior M).
On Sunday the last stage of the Rollerski World Cup with the pursuit free along distances from 13 to 19 km in the Aldeno municipality and on a complitely new track for the Fis Rollerski World Cup.
The 2017 titles of the World Cup will be then assigned in Trentino and that’s why the strongest for each specialty won’t miss the chance to take part in.
During the three days more than 200 participants from 16 different nations are expected; in particular from Andorra, Armenia, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and Iceland. They will try to gain important points for the final ranking, always considering that in three of the four categories there are some leaders with a considerable advantage over the others.
