«I found the best conditions and got the result I wanted - said the winner- I knew what I had to do to win the title and I was able to express myself as best as I could. Twelve months ago, in Davos, I had to accept my defeat against Odermatt, but this year I really wanted to win. It was an intense race, on a fast snow, entertaining. To give the best you can in the most important day of the season is a very positive sign, I’m proud of myself».
«I am the first one to be surprised for this medal - added the Norwegian Braathen, second - it was my first superG this season and I decided to face the race as a test for alpine combined, I would have never thought I could be able to get on the podium. I was feeling comfortable on the slope and this Junior World Ski Championships started the best way possible, while waiting for my favorite specialties, Giant Slalom and Slalom».
